Germanton Plein Air Paint Out April 2006
During the first week of April I was near Winston-Salem for the annual "Painting North Carolina From the Mountains to the Sea" Show and Paint Out. I along with 20 other artists from around the country participated.
Moore's Knob
A beautiful day
Andre Lucero from Tennessee signing his name
Louis Escabedo from Maryland in the middle of it.
Dan Schultz from Colorado Springs with a great backlit view of the model.
Richard Oversmith setting up for a landscape
Scott Burdick from King, North Carolina which is just a stone's throw from Germanton
Trey Finney from Spartanburg, South Carolina finishing up
Mark Kelso acrylic painter from Indiana
Award winning painter Bret Weaver has the most used Open M box I have ever seen.
Luke Buck from Indiana and myself. He and I have some deep roots. I was six years old when I began taking art lessons at Luke and his dad's studio. The Buck family worked really hard to promote Art in the community which helped me to have a great foundation at an early age.
Congratulations to Dan who won the Artist Choice Award this year
