"First Light on Kiser Farm"   -  A feeling  of spring

Well 2018 is starting to runaway and already it feels like spring.  I have made a personal committment to do more blog posting this year; so here's my effort to begin the task.

I know this is short notice but Esther and I will be in Belmont tonight at Bliss Gallery with some recent paintings.  Please stop by and see us!

I want to thank the Art Cellar Gallery for recent painting sales over the last couple of months which are displayed below. (click to enlarge images)

Below are some recent commission works completed, showcasing Gaston County interests in North Carolina

In early February I had the privilege to visit the The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum In Oklahoma City.  This is an amazing museum and something to see for everyone!

Here are some of the 5 triptychs paintings by artist Wilson Hurley titled "Windows to the West" If you can fathom the size of these paintings, they are 16' high by 32' wide!  The large room here is for conferences and banquets.

Sorry to say No Photos allowed behind these walls.  Needless to say I spent quite a bit of time in this room viewing over twenty years of Prix de West winners on displayed in their permanent collection .

Upcoming Fall Workshop

I am still working no the details for an artist workshop for October 2018.  Thinking of going 4 days, 2 outside and 2 in the studio.  Standby for details in April 2018

Here's one just for fun

I rarely do pet portraits but my parents dog Daisy was begging to be painted.  Glad I did it.  She is such a stately canine thought she does have a bit of a barking problem. 16x12 oil

That's all for now,

Thanks for your support,  Scott and Esther Boyle
